We hold no reseller commission on Deepgram. That is what makes the trade-off line above worth reading. It costs us nothing to tell you when this is the wrong choice.
Building with Deepgram
Deepgram is strongest at low-latency streaming accuracy, which is what voice agents live on. We reach for it when that is the property a workload actually depends on, and we say so when it is not.
Streaming accuracy and streaming latency are different properties, and Deepgram is built for the combination, partial transcripts arriving fast enough that an agent can begin reasoning before the caller has finished speaking.
Indian-accent performance is the thing to verify rather than assume. We benchmark word error rate on recordings of the actual callers before committing, because vendor figures are measured on corpora that look nothing like an Indian contact centre.
Integration comes before intelligence. A model that cannot reach your systems of record is a demo with good manners. You own the code, the models where they are open-weight, and the documentation to run it without us.

Questions
What is Deepgram best at?
Low-latency streaming accuracy, which is what voice agents live on.
When would you not use Deepgram?
Indian-accent performance needs verification against your own recordings before you commit. We would look at Claude or OpenAI GPT in that situation.
Do you have a commercial relationship with Deepgram?
No. We hold no reseller commission on any technology we recommend, which is what lets the trade-off above be stated plainly.
Can you work with our existing Deepgram setup?
Yes. We would rather extend and stabilise something that already works than introduce a parallel system your team has to learn.
Working with Deepgram?
Tell us the workload and we will tell you whether this is the right tool for it.
