Building with NVIDIA Jetson
NVIDIA Jetson is strongest at real-time inference on site with no network dependency. We reach for it when that is the property a workload actually depends on, and we say so when it is not.
Jetson exists to put inference where the cameras are. On a plant floor or a remote site, a decision that has to happen in milliseconds cannot depend on a round trip to a datacentre, and no amount of bandwidth solves that.
Module choice is the constraint to plan around. Memory determines which models fit, and discovering that limit after the model is trained means either quantising it or buying different hardware.
Integration comes before intelligence. A model that cannot reach your systems of record is a demo with good manners. We hand over with runbooks, tests and a team that knows how it works, not a dependency.
