Why TypeScript for this
A redesign is a content decision before it is a design decision. Most sites carry pages nobody reads and nobody dares delete, and an audit is what turns that into a deliberate choice.
TypeScript is strongest at one language across client and server, with types catching integration errors at build time. For website redesign that matters because the failure modes of this kind of system tend to cluster exactly there.
The honest trade-off: the ML ecosystem is in Python, so heavy model work lives there. We say that up front because a stack chosen for fashion rather than fit becomes someone's migration project two years later. We build the smallest thing that proves the case, put it in front of real users, and expand only what earns its keep.

Questions
Will we lose our Google rankings?
Not if URLs are mapped and redirected properly. Ranking loss after a redesign is almost always a migration mistake rather than an inevitability, and it is recoverable if caught early, which is why we verify afterwards.
Can we redesign in phases?
Often yes, and it lowers risk considerably. Section by section, with the old and new coexisting, beats a single big-bang launch.
How do we know it worked?
Against the baseline we took before starting, traffic, rankings, conversions and page speed, compared honestly in both directions.
