Why Supabase for this

Batch and expiry tracking is non-negotiable in pharma and food, and retrofitting it is painful. If there is any chance you will need it, design it in from the start.

Supabase is strongest at production-grade auth and RLS without building them, on standard Postgres you can leave. For inventory & warehouse management software that matters because the failure modes of this kind of system tend to cluster exactly there.

The honest trade-off: opinionated in ways that occasionally fight a complex custom auth model. We say that up front because a stack chosen for fashion rather than fit becomes someone's migration project two years later. We build the smallest thing that proves the case, put it in front of real users, and expand only what earns its keep.

Six weeks to something running in production, not six quarters to a strategy document.

We are not a reseller for Supabase and hold no commission on this choice. Where a different option fits your workload better, the recommendation will say so. That is the entire value of asking us.

What is included

Questions

Will it integrate with Tally?

Yes, Tally Prime is extremely common among Indian distributors and integrates workably for stock, purchase and sales synchronisation.

Do we need barcode scanners?

For accuracy at volume, yes, though phone cameras work for lower throughput. Manual entry is where accuracy quietly degrades.

Can it handle multiple warehouses?

Yes, including inter-location transfers, in-transit stock and per-location reorder rules.
